Workshop: From Social Messaging to Social Sharing
In our knowledge-based society, employees have to be able to find the information they need quickly and to exchange it easily. In most enterprises, this happens via email in spite of all the disadvantages that entails. Modern knowledge workers place greater demands on communication and interaction.
Is Social Messaging a means to fulfill these expectations? The workshop discusses the potential and possible scenarios. In addition, participants will be given an overview over available tools and technologies.

Instructor: Joachim Lindner

Joachim Lindner is a freelance senior analyst and consultant for N:Sight Research. Prior to that, he had been working for ABB Germany in the field of marketing and online communications. He was also member of a global team implementing Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 in the company. A wiki for Central Europe and the set-up of a worldwide applicable social networking policy are some examples of his projects.

Workshop: How to Establish a Social Networking Culture?
The establishment of the right culture is the starting as well as ending point for a social networking initiative within the enterprise. As a premise for the success of the initiative as well as the result of the initiative culture is the key element of the adoption strategy.
What are the right pillars of a social networking culture and how can it be achieved? These are the questions addressed by Jenny Ambrozek in this workshop. As a social networking spezialist Jenny is providing insights and conceptional tools and aids for preparing and developing the corporate culture on its way to a social networking culture.
